What am I doing this July 4? Well, I had to come into work but the place is a ghost town so I am working on Card Clubs 2.0 (err 1.5) and making progress. This update has been a long time coming.
There is a major update to phpbb (3.0) but it is lacking several mods that I cannot live with out so this might end up being CCN 1.5 because I have to stick with phpBB 2.x.
Anyway, there is a new theme that I find easier to look at. I am toying with the idea of hiring someone to develop a them...

Last Wednesday, a key Congressional committee voted on a bill supported by the Poker Players Alliance that would have required the federal government to define what types of Internet gaming are unlawful prior to implementation of the deeply flawed Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act. However, despite our best efforts, the Committee rejected the bill in a heartbreakingly close 32-32 vote.

I have FINALLY got everything in line to make Commemorative Card Club Network Poker Chips. I know that this has taken 6 months longer than I thought and I owe chips to the participants of the CCN Beta League from last fall. I am also going to send one to each of the moderators here also.
